We employ several individuals who can boast of having between 15 to 20 years experience apiece.
N.F. Stroth & Associates is a member of the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America NCBFAA and Neill is a member of that group's Drawback Committee. Neill also represents our firm with the Western Cargo Conference (WESCCON) and the Northern California Brokers Association (CBFANC).
N.F. Stroth & Associates is proud to introduce our team; we boast over 130 years of combined experience in Drawback as well as having staff members fluent in Spanish, French, Polish, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Shanghainese, and Tagalog.
The Company has offices located in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago with licensed Customhouse Brokers in every office.
- Neill F. Stroth - President
- Neill attended the University of San Francisco. A licensed Customs Broker, Neill started his career with Fritz and Companies in 1971. Neill gained his knowledge of drawback acting as manager and national director of drawback for Fritz. In 1994 he opened N.F. Stroth & Associates, LLC specializing in drawback; this year N.F. Stroth & Associates celebrated its 15th anniversary.
- Sarah Stroth - Chief Operations Officer
- As Chief Operating Officer, Sarah Stroth oversees their San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago offices. Sarah has helped to develop and service local and national accounts as well as providing marketing and image guidelines for the company’s expansion. She is a licensed Customs Broker with 15 years of experience in the industry. Sarah attended Dominican University in San Rafael, California. Sarah is active with Women in International Trade, Los Angeles after joining the board of directors in 2004. She has helped to coordinate membership recruitment and program events for the association. She has served as President and Chair from 2007 through 2010.
- Nancy W. Hiromoto - Vice President of Sales and Business Development
- Nancy W. Hiromoto, a licensed customs broker, has first-hand experience in varied facets of international business, including government regulatory compliance, global sales, logistics and supply chain management, inventory control and intellectual property rights. She has successfully developed and implemented various import and export in-house automation programs, such as duty drawback, customs compliance, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and foreign-trade zone operations. In addition, Ms. Hiromoto is versed in directing day-to-day facilities operations, such as purchasing, security, telecommunications, real estate and property management.
- Joe Lawhun - Director of Drawback Compliance
- Joe attended the University of California at Berkley. Joe started his career in the transportation industry in 1979 with Fritz Companies in Drawback. He joined N.F. Stroth in 1996 as a Senior Drawback Specialist; Joe has been instrumental in developing N.F. Stroth’s informational systems and providing operational support through out the Company.
- Villfredy Alvarenga - Senior Drawback Analyst
- Villfredy attended Healds Business College in San Francisco and started his drawback career with N.F. Stroth 11 years ago. Villfredy specializes in border drawback transactions, Same Condition claims that include Canada and Mexico. Villfredy loves the challenge of securing the proper export documentation for client’s historical drawback filings.
- Husheng Zhu - Senior Drawback Analyst
- Husheng attended the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Husheng joined the N.F. Stroth Los Angeles office bringing over 14 years of drawback experience; her knowledge of various issues related to U.S. Customs regulations and classification has been an asset as well as her love for the problem solving aspect of drawback.
- Renee Predki - Drawback Specialist
- Renee attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. As a licensed Customs Broker, Renee’s worked as a Drawback Account Executive for Fritz & Companies, Phoenix International and Schenker International previously before joining N.F. Stroth in 2001 in the Chicago office.
- Amir Ghoreichi - Drawback Specialist
- Amir attended University of California at Irvine and joined the N.F. Stroth San Francisco office in January of 2008. Amir’s favorite part of drawback is the singularity of each client’s product and methods of Import and Export that makes the process of duty recovery challenging; fun, and rewarding.
- Virginia Sta. Maria-Vera - Senior Processing Specialist
- Virginia attended Centro Escolar University in the Philippines for undergraduate and San Francisco State University for her Masters degree in Psychology. Virginia joined N.F. Stroth after a 33 year career in the insurance industry. Virginia is Stroth’s resident expert when it comes to processing import and export documentation for the actual claim processing aspect of drawback.
- Agripina Montes - Drawback Coordinator
- Agripina has 20 years experience in the field of quality assurance and technical publications. Her attention to detail, accuracy and process improvements makes her an efficient member of a compliance-oriented team. Agripina is fluent in Spanish, and has had experience in assisting in the translation of regulatory documentation and end-user manuals into 14 European languages. She is versed with regulations under International Organization of Standardization.
- Anna Mandrik - Processing Specialist
- Anna attended Healds Business College in San Francisco. Before joining N.F. Stroth, Anna has extensive customer service experience as well as an excellent working knowledge of the steamship line industry.
- Josephine Domingo - Data Entry Coordinator
- Josephine attended University of Baguio in the Philippines for undergrad. She has over 25 years experience in customer service and data entry. Josephine is responsible for the data entry of pertinent information into N.F. Stroth's automated duty drawback system. She enjoys the uniqueness of each company and the challenges of the different types of drawback programs.
- Everardo Grimaldo – Drawback Account Representative
- Everardo attended California State University, Fullerton for his Undergraduate Degree (BA) in International Business, with a concentration of Spanish. He has worked in the Import and Export industry for over ten years, with his most recent positions in Export Compliance, Duty Drawback, and International Sales. Everardo’s experience in administering vital accounts, his attention to detail, and his ability to analyze and decipher situations allows him to successfully service clients from various industries in the duty recovery process. Everardo is a dedicated professional who strives to be a great contributor within N.F. Stroth & Associates.
- Ellen Nostrand – Data Processing Clerk
- Ellen earned her Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration in 2006. Her work experience has provided her with skills in records management, data entry of financial transactions, problem solving, and customer relations. Ellen is excited to be part of NF Stroth and Associates is devoted to being a successful member of this team.
